Where an alleged food poisoning, food contamination, food complaint or an incident has occurred, any organisation should strive to review the incident, learn lessons and implement any necessary changes to increase their capability to manage food safety. There are occasions where an independent investigator is best placed to dispassionately review the circumstances of the incident and identify where enhancements to processes and systems should be implemented.
We can undertake investigations to develop a chronology of events and a detailed action log of the events which occurred during the incident and an analysis of how the incident impacted upon the organisation. From this, we can identify any necessary enhancements to existing processes and systems or the requirement for new processes to be introduced.
Through our extensive experience of investigating food safety related incidents, as enforcement personnel, consultants and managers, we know that reviewing an accident or incident can be painful for individuals and the organisation.
