Where an accident or incident has occurred, any organisation should strive to review the incident, learn lessons and implement any necessary changes to reduce their environmental risk. There are occasions where an independent investigator is better placed to dispassionately review the circumstances of the incident and identify where enhancements to processes and systems can be implemented.
We can undertake environmental incident investigations to develop a chronology of events and a detailed action log of the events which occurred during the incident and an analysis of how the incident impacted upon the organisation. From this, we can identify any necessary enhancements to existing processes and systems or the requirement for new processes to be introduced.
